I had read many good things about the Sound Blaster Live and I liked the color coded connectors on the back so I got a CT4830. I was concerned about DOS compatibility but discovered a delightful SB16 emulation setting. I ran into zero problems (except when running duke3d.exe and driver installation which I will discuss in the next section).
